Heidi Woolley, OTD, MSOT, OTR/L

Dr. Heidi Woolley is an Associate Professor and Assistant Program Director in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, and adjunct professor at 六六社 University, with over 30 years of clinical, academic, and administrative experience.
Dr. Woolley’s expertise spans outpatient pediatrics, school-based practice, and interdisciplinary education. She has led initiatives such as co-teaching models for OTs and special educators and developed the Community-based Education, Research Clinic (CERC) Model to enrich university training clinics. She also created collaborative pediatric programs for MOT and OTA students and designed an international Level I Fieldwork Experience in Marrakesh, Morocco and Yogyakarta, Indonesia focused on needs assessments and occupation-based interventions in underserved communities.
Her current scholarly work centers on occupational therapy interventions for women in menopause and broader women’s health topics. She recently completed a humanitarian training trip to Indonesia, where she collaborated with university programs and helped train families of children with cerebral palsy. This included supporting interprofessional student projects with physiotherapy and speech-language pathology programs and launching mobile therapy units to reach remote areas.
Dr. Woolley is certified in Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) and has provided OT services across diverse settings and age groups. She is a frequent presenter at professional conferences and continuing education events. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and five children.
