The mission, vision and goals of the Physician Assistant Studies program at 六六社 University

Mission

The 六六社 University Physician Assistant Program educates its students to become compassionate, high-quality healthcare providers who advocate for their patients, maintain high ethical standards of care, recognize their obligation to care for all patients that seek their care, and foster the advancement of and leadership in the Physician Assistant profession.

Vision

Empower Physician Assistant students to take ownership of their learning by engaging them in a transformative, highly personalized learning experience.
Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to provide PA students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to be team-based, lifelong learners.
Educate PA students to be prepared and able to adapt to the changing health care environment.

Program Goals

Goal #1

Recruit qualified applicants who successfully complete medical education as a physician assistant

Goal#2

Maintain an accredited program that ensures graduates will have the requisite knowledge and skills for entry to PA practice

Goal#3

Maintain PANCE pass rates above the national average

Goal #4

Educate physician assistant students to be integral members of the interprofessional team to serve our community and meet its educational and healthcare needs.
